Good luck on getting them out for an event. About a year ago I was involved in putting on a special SCCA event for the UCF car club on the UCF campus in one of their parking lots. The UCF student that worked with us to organize it was over an hour late getting there to get it set up too. In the end I think only 2 of them even showed up to participate. So, it was attended by 2 UCF car club members and about 18 SCCA workers.
Maybe they are more motivated a year later, maybe not. My personal opinion is that the majority of them are more interested in show than go. I'm just letting you know what my experience was with them.
Yeah I know, but they were much less organized back then. That was like the first semester the club was around. It wasn't lack of interest but lack of organization. an example was, I knew of the club, hung out with them a few times, and I didn't even know about it and I would jump all over an autocross on campus

Not to gurantee stuff, but I we all know college students can be flakey, and broke.
We are up to weekly meets of at least 15-20 cars usually up to 30+ at times. Lots of spec Vs, Accords, last meet we had an '05 Stang, S2k, usual f-bodies, and mustangs...
Also I have seen the embry riddle people run in their own class. I believe its something if you have 5 or more people you run in your own class. Is this game?
