In the August issue of the Pit Patter, I've thrown in something really cool for everyone to find. Be the first one to specify what it is, here on the forum, and win a cool prize! So far the prize has not been decided on, but I'm thinking perhaps a new Lotus Elise or something.

Because some people will receive their Patters before others, the contest will begin Tuesday, August 2nd. Until then, please refrain from posting guesses and clues.

My guess, having not RECIEVED the pit patter yet is it has something to do with a certain driver that got ftd.

**AMMENDMENT TO THE RULES** --- contest begins 12 pm EST on Tuesday. Therefore no advantage for night owls on Monday night who plan to post when the clock strikes midnight while the rest of us normal people sleep.

You can't change the rules once they're posted. That just aint right. Besides, there goes my advantage.

My guess for the answer is:

A/C tent for the miniprix and the pic of Mark driving my car has been digitally altered. He is driving it from the right side of the car, not the left.

On page 5, in the "In Attendance" section of the meeting minutes, you have Chuck's car listed as a Guest. This is obviously a mistake as I don't recall seeing Chuck's car at the meeting!

My guess is that you show the details of the Tiger Points -- have you done that before?

Under new business, the two available dates are Saturday 10/9 & Sunday 10/29. 10/9 is a Sunday. 10/29 is a Saturday. All the other obvious guesses have already been posted... WHILE I WAS AT WORK! I protest.

And the winner is.....Randy Frankos! The correct answer is Mark driving a right-hand drive Miata. It's actually not a Photoshop job. Well, sort of. Here's the story: Chris has been taking photos with a normal camera since his digi went kaplooey. He brought the film to be developed, and ALL the photos were developed backwards, like a mirror image. So all the cars came out as right-hand drive. They looked so cool that I had to publish one like that. However the numbers/letters were backwards also, so I did my best in Photoshop to flip them horizontally to make it look authentic.

So Randy, now that you've won, where are you going? I'll have to get back to you on the Elise. For now, you'll have to settle on whatever we come up with.
