wat do i nead to start auto raceing with you fellas
The first thing to do is go to the SCCA.org website and download the SOLO2 rule book from the SOLO section. I don't think you can race a pick-up but I'm not sure. If it's low enough, they may let you. If the race stewards decide it's too top-heavy them your SOL. You'll need to join the SCCA if you want to race in SCCA sanction events. You can ask the people in your region about your vehicle and its eligibility. As far as Honda's & Toyota's go, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

My innocent looking Civic will go from 0 to 60 in about 5 seconds and corners like a slot car.

Remember, it's not all straight line speed in Autocross, its precision and control that gets it done.
Good Luck!!!
