I usually race with the Buckeye Miata club but I am thinking of coming out to an event or two in July.
Is the event on the 11th/12th open to more "rookie" or "backmarker" type drivers, or is it a more "pro" type event?
Just curious.
Also, what are the fees for the 11th/12th event?

I'd say all of OVR's events are open to everyone, whether you're just beginning or have 20 + years experience 
My wife and mom are codriving a miata this year and it's their first year, and everyone they've talked to so far at the events has been happy that new people are coming out.
The fees are related to if you're an SCCA member or not. You can look on dlbracing.com for the event in July and it should have a total break down of the fee structure.

I cannot imagine that there is a better answer than that. The more new people there are the better it is for OVR I'd think.

The July 11-12 event is open to all. There will be national level racers as well as new racers competing. Please keep in mind this is a preregistered event only. There will be NO WALK INS either day. To register you can go to DLBracing.com. Hope to see you there.
