lol! Just kidding... sorry, i have nothing of value to add here, other than maybe the ignition switch/key assembly could be busted.

thanks LOL was just thinking about taking it off someone's hands- just want to know what I am looking at for price wise to fix some of the issues!

Might be a dumb question, but does the starter motor work?

Have not gone to see car yet? I should take someone with me huh!

If you are able to jump the starter motor with the key in the run position and it starts... I'd say definately the ignition switch isn't powering the ignition in the "start" position.

dont count out the sylenoid or the relay

Just a word of warning - "cheap fix" and "Porsche" don't go in the same sentence together. That said, dad and I are really enjoying the 944. Good luck with your possible acquisition, and if there's anything we can help with let us know.
