As I mentioned at the meeting last night quite a few cars got moved to a different stock class for 2010. Essentially several classes got moved down a letter to make room for a new class in between the current SS and AS. Note these changes apply only to stock class cars, street prepared, street mod, street touring, etc cars are not affected.

Super Stock - The faster SS cars stay while the slower ones get moved down to form their own class.

A Stock - This is the "new" class that was created. It has the following cars that were moved down from SS.

BMW
M3 (‘08-‘10)
Z4 M Coupe/Roadster (‘06-‘08)

Chevrolet
Corvette (‘97-‘04, C5 chassis, non-Z06)

Lexus
IS-F (‘08-‘10)

Lotus
Esprit Turbo (‘96-‘04)

Mazda
RX-7 (‘93-‘95)

Mercedes
C63 AMG

Porsche
911 (‘98-‘04, 996 chassis)
Boxster S (‘05-‘08)
Cayman S (‘05-‘08)

B Stock - All cars that used to be in AS. Basically the same class, just a different letter.

C Stock - This class is a combnation of the old CS cars plus all the old BS. Additionally the '97-'04 Porsche Boxster (986 chassis, non S) was added.

D Stock - Same as 2009 only with addition of the Mini Cooper S (all years).

E Stock - No changes

F Stock - No changes

G Stock - Same as 2009 only now without the Mini.

H Stock - Adds Ford Focus SVT and slower Acura Integra's but otherwise the same.

Post any classing questions you have and I'll try to clear them up for you.

The new A Stock looks interesting. I bet the RX-7s & Z51 C5s will be the top dogs...

2004 996 Anniversary Edition 345hp with LSD will also be a contender.

I'll take the Boxster S, of course!

Thanks from me as well Jason!
