I recently learned of the autocross events in Tavares and have been going to watch for a couple months now. I am wanting to bring my 1996 miata out there but on the registration it asks for car classification and I am having a difficult time figuring out what class the car falls under. It has a rebuilt stock engine with an aftermarket turbo kit, mild suspension upgrades, oem sized drilled and slotted rotors, and factory wheels with street tires on them. The car is my daily driver and has full interior and I will probably be running it with a tune making around 250 hp and tq. I have talked to a couple people and someone suggested posting it on the forums. If someone could help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated.

Very simple--novice class... Eventually, the car will move to either SMST2, or SSM once you get some events under your belt.
